Subject Continuity

Perhaps one of the most interesting anomalies found while Reverse Recording Deciphering is the matter of Subject Continuity.  Subject Continuity is when the subject matter of the Forward Lyric has the same or similar subject matter or topic as in the Reverse Lyric.

While Reverse Deciphering this song I didn't pay any attention to what the Forward Lyrics were until I had completely interpreted the Reverse Lyrics.   That way I was insuring that my Reverse Deciphering outcome was not influenced or prejudiced by me knowing what the corresponding Forward Lyrics were.

Here is an example of Subject Continuity:

In Cut 21 the Subject Continuity is two-fold:

Forward- "Bloated belly’s stuffed full"

Reverse- "Oh Hurts…  Sing thy Fiddle"

Here .

First is the Reverse Lyric Oh Hurts.  Then there is the Forward Lyric of Bloated belly's.  Needless to say we all know how much a bloated belly hurts.

Secondly, after a meal is finished and your Bloated belly's stuffed full is when the evening entertainment traditionally would begin and the music would start playing, thus, the Reverse Lyric Sing thy fiddle.
